Saina Nehwal enters into semifinals of French Open.

Indian Badminton queen Saina Nehwal goes one step closer to win her fifth title in the year. In YONEX French Open Tournament, 2012, Saina enters into the semi-final. In women’s singles quarter-final she defeats three-time world junior champion Ratchanok Inthanon of Thailand to record a 22-20, 22-20 in the 41-minute on Friday night. The match was excellent. World No 10 Ratchanok Inthanon did not surrender before the Indian performer, surprising Olympic Bronze medalist Saina, Ratchanok did brilliant counter attacks. The 17-year-old Ratchanok even staved off a game point and threatened to spoil Saina’s game-plan by picking three points in-a-row to make level the scores at 20-all. That was the phase when the Thailand girl came up with impressive forehand smashes and even countered Saina’s brilliance at the net. In the second game there was a point when Ratchanok leveled at 20-20. But nowadays Saina has become more sharp and ultimately the experienced 22 (Saina) wins over the 17 (Ratchanok)
