Performance is not the only criteria to be selected in the Indian cricket team; it requires something extra, lobby, godfather and luck. This fact is almost known to all but performance is not a criteria is quite new idea about Indian cricket. The application of this idea is seen in the recent team selection.Just look at the performance chart of the three competitors and keep in mind that selectors have chosen S. Badrinath. What to say?!

Yes that's true that performance is nit the only reason for being selected in the team. You need good luck as well as "Godfather" behind you. Very annoying process of selection.
